This was my first multi-day camping/riding trip. I had done a lot of research and Rick
gave me tons of advice on getting the right camping gear.
Day - 1
Dallas to Cloudland Canyon State Park
This of one of the coolest State Parks I've been to. You wind your way up a hill to the top where the camground.
Day - 2
Cloudland Canyon State Park to Asheville, NC KOA
The roads in this area are incredible to say the least.
This was the coldest night of the trip and I didn't quite understand how mummy sleeping bags worked. Well, apparently you have to cover your head to keep warm.. needless to say, I froze...
Day 3 - Asheville, NC KOA to Roosevelt State Park
We rode towards Lake Lure and that area.
Then, we decided it was time to head back towards home. So, back on the road we went.
We made it to Roosevelt State Park very late that night but it put us both an easy distance from home so the next way would be of little effort and give us time to recover from all the twisties.
