Hotglue's Promise
Big Bend (Terlingua, TX)
This ride was put together because Mark (Hotglue) had promised Flamingobabe (Charlyne) the night they met to go to Terlingua on the bike. They started the trip and then it began to rain, since they had no rain gear, they stopped under a bridge and it ended up canceling that spur of the moment trip.
That was 9 years ago so we determined it was time to force the issue.
Some of us camped at the Chisos Basin Campground within the park.
That night, you could hear 'something' moving around.. we turned on the flashlights and there were the little javelinas.
Mark and Charlyne finally made it.
During this trip, on the ride along River Road, we noticed Six PIpes' rear tire had a strange look to it.
Yep.. that's cord showing... Big Bend claims another tire..
We camped at Davis Mtns the next day. The Park Rangers were feeding the deer.. I stil don't know why. Blink was trying to stab one for dinner.
We rode to the top of the scenic drive in the park and you could just see the Observatories on the other hills.
