Well, the Wing served me well
over the past 3 years.
However, I was yearning for a
sport tourer again and I had no
other choice, in my mind, than
the ST1300.
I had been thinking about this for a while. But, I just seemed to
keep packing and brining more and more stuff with me on trips. Even
thinking about a trailer.
I wanted to get back to a more slimline type of touring. Just me,
some gear and the road.
I found a great deal on my trade in at Moddrell's Chickasha Honda in
Chickasha, OK and probably one of the few 2008 ST1300 ABS bikes
around. For some reason, it appears Honda has a bunch of 2007
bikes and didn't make many 2008's. There's also some 2006's
that are being pulled out of warehouses. So, lots to choose from.
I considered other Sport Tourers but since I had a 2003 ST1300 and
since I run the ST site I'm more than comfortable with that bike and
how is handles, performs and the reliability.
I have been told if I buy another bike anytime soon I will be singing
soprano - just wanted some witnesses in case that ends up in court.
